Get to know me…

Belle was sadly returned to the centre after becoming stressed with the new baby in her home.

Unfortunately Belle was confirmed to have a fungal infection which takes a lot of time to resolve! Thankfully, after months of treatment she is all ready to find her new forever home!

Belle found the cattery environment, quite overwhelming and often found herself curled up in one of her hiding spots. To help Belle feel more relaxed we’ve started her on Gabapentin which has been beneficial for her wellbeing. This medication would need to be continued in her new home – although we have already started to wean her off this medication, now that she is more comfortable in the cattery.

Combined with time and patience (and a few Dreamies), Belle has started to show her affectionate side, and enjoys receiving small fusses from her human carers, often resulting in her snuggled on a nice comfy lap. When she’s without company, she’s quite happy lounging about on a soft, warm blanket.
Belle is looking for patient owners who will give her the time and space she needs, in order for her to show her affectionate side when she’s ready to.
