Fluffy and Bear arrived at the centre after there was an allergy in their previous home

Fluffy is a confident, sociable girl who wasted no time settling into the cattery. She absolutely loves attention and is always happy to greet her new human friends at the front of their pen. When she’s not receiving fuss, she’s happy curled up on a soft blanket in one of her beds.

Bear found the transition much more overwhelming. Initially, he preferred to hide away and would only come out when things were quiet. To support him during this time, we started him on Gabapentin to help ease his anxiety. With patience, time, and hands off socialising, he’s now beginning to seek out interactions, exploring more of his space and often joining Fluffy at the front of their pen to say hello. Once he’s fully settled into his new home, we hope he can be gradually weaned off his medication.

This pair are looking for adopters who will give Fluffy all the fuss she wants, but also give Bear the space he needs to be comfortable in his home, to allow his confidence to continue to grow.

Due to their lack of experience outdoors, Fluffy and Bear are seeking a more rural environment so that, when they are eventually introduced to roads, they can learn to navigate them safely.
