Sweet boy Arlo arrived in our care via inspector when his previous owner could no longer care for him.
He has been incredibly sweet and affectionate with everyone he has met at the centre and just loves to be in the company of the people he trusts. He can be shy in new situations and seeks reassurance in these moments but with a little bit of time and patience we feel he’s going to shine and grow in confidence each day.
Arlo gets on well with other smaller dogs that he used to live but does require continued positive training and exposure to new dogs, which his new adopters should be happy to support him with. For this reason, Arlo may be able to live with another suitably matched dog that is of smaller size, calm and confident who he is able to learn from and play with, depending on successful meets at the centre beforehand.
