More about me
Get to know me…
Sweet boy Obie was found abandoned in a horrible state – too weak to stand, with scars all over his body indicating that his mouth was tied shut and corrosive liquid thrown over him!
Despite this heart breaking evidence, he remains beautifully natured and greets everyone with a happy wiggle and a toy in his mouth. Obie is a young, playful and affectionate dog who will make a great addition to a family.
Obie still has more weight to gain but we are happy with the steady weight he continues to put on and know he will be much happier if he can continue to flourish in the comfort on a forever home.
We are unsure on his previous history but he has recently lived in a foster home with cats and showed very gentle behaviours with them; even sharing a bed! So we feel he may be able to live with a friendly, confident cat that is used to living with a big dog. We are also happy to find a suitably matched dog depending on successful introductions here at the centre beforehand.
If you have a Obie shaped hole in your house waiting to be filled then please get in contact, as he is desperate to find a home away from kennels.
