Get to know me…

Sweet girl Smudge hasn’t had the best start in life, having been rescued by one of our inspectors from an overcrowded and unsuitable environment at such a young age. She adores play time with her toys, zooming around the gardens and just being around people she trusts despite her busy start to life.

She is likely to have not had the appropriate socialisation she needed at a crucial point in her learning which is why she’s looking for a patient and experienced owner who can understand her body language and help her flourish in the right home.

Smudge will need a home that is ready to continue her exercise plan that we have in place at the centre, where she will need some support to keep her calm and gradually build up her daily exercise each week.

Smudge can be worried by new people and environments but shows interest in wanting to explore at her own pace. We believe she has so much potential to be a happy and confident girl in the right hands!

Smudge does have some 4 legged friends at the centre who she enjoys going on walks with so she would benefit from a walking companion once she’s going on longer walks. We may be able to consider Smudge living with another dog depending on how far along on her exercise plan she is at the point of adoption. However this dog must be a suitably matched, calm, mature dog who is neutered and fully vaccinated (unless vet advised otherwise) and will depend on a successful introduction at the centre beforehand.
