Chestnut came into the centre after unfortunately not getting on with his previous friend.
When first at the centre, Chestnut did struggle with his new environment but since settling in and feeling more comfortable in his environment, we often see him exploring his tank. Chestnut loves digging tunnels, running in his wheel and keeps himself busy by prepping his tank just how he likes it.
As Gerbils prefer living in pairs we are looking to bond him with a similar aged male Gerbil as soon as possible. We are seeking a loving home that offers both companionship and a large deep tank with enriching opportunities so Chestnut can fully express his natural digging behaviour and enjoy the happy fulfilling life he deserves.
