There are many ways YOU can help raise the vital funds we need for RSPCA Suffolk Central Branch, every penny counts!

The RSPCA receives no funding from the government, all the running costs of the branch come from donations, fundraising and legacies.

By supporting RSPCA Suffolk Central through a monthly or single donation you will be helping local animals in need and the work of our Rehoming Centre and Welfare Clinic.

JustGiving’s Giving Checkout is a secure online way to support your local branch of the RSPCA.

It is quick and easy.  Simply click the button below.

Around 60 per cent of all the money the RSPCA receives is left by generous supporters in their wills. A legacy ensures the life-saving work of the RSPCA can continue. Put simply, without legacies this Branch would cease to operate and local animals in Suffolk would suffer. If you would like more information, please contact the Centre on 0300 999 7321 or email info@rspca-suffolkcentral.org.uk with your name and address so we can post you some information.

You can sponsor a Dog Kennel, Cat Pen, Rabbit Pen, Ferret Pen or Critters’ Corner (our small furry and feathered friends) which provide a safe environment for abused, abandoned, mistreated and unwanted animals. With Safe Haven you won’t be helping just one animal, you’ll be sponsoring the lives of all who pass through our animal centre every year. More info here

Gift Aid enables us to make the very most of the donations we receive. Basic rate tax is 20 per cent, so this means that if you give £10 using Gift Aid, it’s worth £12.50 to us.  Click here for more.

By post and online.

Payroll giving is one of the most tax effective methods of regular giving and its simple to administer for employers.   In this way, you can support us with a regular, tax-free donation straight from your pay.

Another way to donate is help by buying us any of the items on our wish list Here

Having a clear out or decluttering? We would love to receive ladies’, gents’ and children’s clothes, toys, small (working) electrical items, accessories (e.g. shoes, handbags and jewellery), books, BlueRay DVDs, bric-a-brac and household linen. Unfortunately, we can’t accept videos, duvets or pillows. We can sell clothing in less than good condition to textile recyclers, including shoes and handbags. Please take your donations to any of our shops or the Animal Centre.

We want your used Printer Inkjet Cartridges!

Every year millions of different types of ink cartridges are sadly sent to landfill.

We are now working with Think Inks who accept all empty printhead inkjet cartridges so that they can be processed for reuse and not end up in landfill.

What is a Printhead Ink Cartridge?
A printhead ink cartridge is a combination of a metallic strip and chip. The metallic strip (the nozzle) is where the ink is released, and the metallic chip is what connects the ink cartridge to the printer

When it is safe to do so, please take your inkjet cartridges to our Animal Centre or Shops.

Stamps – Can we have all your used stamps off of letters, etc? We can sell used stamps to a company who will give us £3 per kilo. That’s a lot of stamps, but every little helps. Please take or send to one of our sites.

Broken Jewellery – The odd broken chain or mismatched earring can net us some much needed cash. We can get money for local animals from your broken jewellery, costume jewellery, old beads and broken watches. Simply take or send the items to one of our sites.

If your company would like to support our charity, we would love to hear from you. From general support for our animal welfare work to donations to specific projects, we are happy to accept cash donations or gifts in kind. Of course, we would acknowledge your generosity on site and online. We have corporate sponsorship schemes and can offer volunteering opportunities across our Branch. To find out more visit our Corporate Partnerships page or contact lorna.goodwin@rspca-suffolkcentral.org.uk / 07842 935938.
