We are a truly local charity providing essential animal welfare services across Suffolk
The RSPCA Suffolk Central branch exists to help animals across Suffolk. Our Animal Centre in Martlesham can care for over 100 animals in need at any one time. Through our welfare clinics and financial assistance scheme we support nearly 3,000 people and pets annually by providing heavily subsidised veterinary treatment.
95% of everything we do is funded by support from our local community via our charity shops, fundraising efforts, donations and gifts in Wills.
Adoption & rehoming
Our Animal Centre based in Martlesham has up to 100 animals in our care at any time. Could you offer a forever home to an animal in need? Take a look at our current residents below.
Pet of the week

Mango
Mango came into the centre after her previous owner sadly passed away.
Mango is a sweet and affectionate girl once she gets to know you. Given the time, Mango loves your company and spends most of her time making puddings on her blanket and loving on her human companions.
Unfortunately, upon coming to the centre it was clear that Mango was suffering with ear issues (Multiple ceruniniferous cysts). After a good cleaning routine and medication, we feel that Mango is ready for rehoming! Mango will need to continue with her steroid tablets which the branch can provide at a discounted rate.
Mango is looking for someone who will remain vigilant with her ear issues to ensure she is not suffering and be prepared to treat and manage when necessary. The branch will help with costs towards medication for Mango in regards to her ears.
Mango does come with her additional needs but trust us when we say, she is worth it!
You made a difference in 2024
There are many ways YOU can help raise the vital funds that we need to deliver our vital services. RSPCA Suffolk Central receives no funding from the government, all the running costs of the branch comes from generous donations, fundraising and legacies from the public and local community. But together this is what we achieved last year..
