We are a truly local charity providing essential animal welfare services across Suffolk
The RSPCA Suffolk Central branch exists to help animals across Suffolk. Our Animal Centre in Martlesham can care for over 100 animals in need at any one time. Through our welfare clinics and financial assistance scheme we support over 2,000 people and pets annually by providing heavily subsidised veterinary treatment.
Everything we do is funded by support from our local community via our charity shops, fundraising efforts, donations and gifts in Wills.
Adoption & rehoming
Our Animal Centre based in Martlesham has up to 100 animals in our care at any time. Could you offer a forever home to an animal in need? Take a look at our current residents below.
Pet of the Week
Misty
Misty arrived at the centre following a change in circumstances for her previous owner.
She settled into cattery life quickly and was eager to meet her new human friends, soaking up as much fuss and attention as she could get her paws on. On the occasion this can lead to a little nip, but we hope that in her new home, with plenty of company and stimulation, this behaviour will settle. When she’s not enjoying cuddles, Misty can usually be found charging around with her toys, followed by the occasional relaxed moment curled up in her bed or on a nice warm lap with her favourite humans.
Misty is on the lookout for adopters who can continue to give her the enrichment and stimulation she needs in order to thrive in her new home.

You made a difference in 2025
There are many ways YOU can help raise the vital funds that we need to deliver our vital services. RSPCA Suffolk Central receives no funding from the government, all the running costs of the branch comes from generous donations, fundraising and legacies from the public and local community. But together this is what we achieved last year..
