Cost of care.
Before taking on a pet it is important to consider whether you can afford to care for them, in good times and bad.
Budget
As a rough budget, you should be budgeting care costs including feed, insurance, basic vet care, toys, and accommodation costs (e.g. litter and bedding).
- Cat: £25-£180 a month
- Dog: £60-£400 a month
- Rabbits (pair): £50-£100 a month
