What is microchipping?
Microchipping involves the insertion of a small chip, around the size of a grain of rice, under the animal’s skin, usually between the shoulder blades. Each microchip has a unique serial number that is registered on a database.
If an animal is found lost or injured, the microchip can be read with a scanner so the pet can quickly be reunited with the owner, so it is always essential that you keep the database up to date.
