HELP & ADVICE

Frequently asked questions

How far in advance should I book a talk?

Please contact us as early as possible. We’ll do our best to accommodate you – and we do take bookings well in advance!

Is there a maximum group size for a talk?

Talks
We give education talks to all sized groups, from children in groups of 10, up to 600 in a school assembly!
Adult groups – most sizes can be accommodated – from smaller groups in care homes to larger talks for WI meetings.

Groups
For tours of our Martlesham Animal Centre we try to keep impact on the animals to a minimum, so we like to restrict groups to six or under at any one time.

Will I need to provide any equipment for your talk?

We can bring our own projector, which will need a space on a plain/white wall to use, but if you have a screen or TV we can connect to that would be great!

Can your talk include interactive elements/activities?

Yes, with notice! These are popular with Cubs, Beavers and Brownies packs and schools.

Activities previously run include painting old collection boxes, colouring in sessions and creating rehoming posters for the animals at our Martlesham Animal Centre.
