We are a truly local charity providing essential animal welfare services across Suffolk

The RSPCA Suffolk Central branch exists to help animals across Suffolk. Our Animal Centre in Martlesham cares for around 90 animals in need at any one time. Through our welfare clinics and financial assistance scheme we support over 3,000 people and pets annually by providing heavily subsidised veterinary treatment.

95% of everything we do is funded by support from our local community via our charity shops, fundraising efforts, donations and gifts in Wills.

Adoption & rehoming

Our Animal Centre based in Martlesham has up to 100 animals in our care at any time. Could you offer a forever home to an animal in need? Take a look at our current residents below.

Pet of the week

Snowball

Snowball came into our care due to no fault of his own. He is a calm boy that enjoys veggies and herbs being hand fed to him. Because of his quiet nature we are looking for a calm home environment.
Snowball enjoys gentle affection without being picked up. We are now starting Snowball’s search for his perfect wife bun, who should be neutered and vaccinated. Snowball will not be ready for bonding until the beginning of June due to his recent neutering operation and the hormone regulation process post operation.
We would be happy to discuss bonding Snowball and his new friend on site should you need support with this process. Snowball has a small injury on his nose which has been checked by a vet under general anaesthetic and no concerns were found, his fur will grow back nicely in no time. If you can offer Snowball a large and secure accommodation, and all the love and companionship he deserves please get in touch!

You made a difference in 2023

There are many ways YOU can help raise the vital funds that we need to deliver our vital services. RSPCA Suffolk Central receives no funding from the government, all the running costs of the branch comes from generous donations, fundraising and legacies from the public and local community. But together this is what we achieved in 2023...
