Layla arrived at the centre after a change in circumstance for her previous owner.
The transition was a difficult one for her, and she initially found comfort in the safety of her igloo bed, only venturing out when things were quiet.
With time, patience, and a generous supply of her favourite Dreamies treats, Layla’s confidence has gradually grown. She is now spending more time outside her bed and has even started seeking out small fusses from her human friends.
Layla is looking for a calm, quiet home with adopters who will give her the time and space she needs to settle in at her own pace. As her confidence continues to grow, we hope her affectionate personality will show through even more.
