Zayu arrived at the centre following a change in circumstances for her previous owner.

She found the adjustment difficult at first and often chose to keep her distance from her human carers. With time and patience Zayu’s affectionate side has begun to blossom, and she now enjoys receiving fuss and attention when she wants it

Zayu can come across as a little worried initially, but we’re sure that, in the right home with adopters who are happy to let her settle at her own pace, her confidence and affectionate nature will continue to grow.
