More about me

Get to know me…

Mia came to the centre after showing signs of stress in her previous home.

Since arriving she has completely charmed everyone she meets with her sweet character. Mia quickly made plenty of human friends and was later moved into a local foster home where she has settled and found a new lease of life.

Don’t let Mia’s age fool you, she is still playful, chatty, and full of affection. When her family is home, she wastes no time jumping onto a lap for cuddles and settling in for the evening and if she feels she’s being ignored, she’ll gently tap you for attention!

During a routine veterinary check-up, Mia was diagnosed with diabetes. Thankfully, her condition is well managed with daily insulin injections. Mia is an absolute super star when having her injection and as long as it is accompanied with food, she doesn’t even know it has happened!

Mia’s diabetes certainly doesn’t define her, you wouldn’t even know she has it by looking at her. She is a happy, loving cat who deserves a forever home where she can continue enjoying life to the fullest.

Do you have the right home for our sweet Mia to spend her retirement years?
