Our beautiful girl JoJo is on the lookout for a new home. She came into our care after her owners could sadly no longer keep her. Unfortunately, due to an allergy in the home, JoJo was being kept in an outdoor kennel alone for long hours over the last year.
JoJo loves being around people, however she can get a little overwhelmed if spending long periods of time with people and can then forget her manners. We are working on this with her but will need her new owners to continue this in the home, and ideally allow her a ‘safe space’ to be alone and decompress if she needs to.
She adores playing with her toys and going out for a nice walk, not even a bit of rain can stop her. She loves finding big puddles to splash around in, and is quite happy to keep herself occupied with her toys by throwing them in the air and catching them again.
JoJo has shown some signs of resource guarding her toys and some longer lasting treats, so will need her new owners to be respectful of her space and continue her ‘drop’ and ‘leave it’ training in the home.
